What would you do if you were told you had two hours to pack your stuff to leave your home and could never come back? That is exactly what happened to the people of Chernobyl, Ukraine in 1986 when the worst nuclear disaster in history occurred. Twenty five years later, Chernobyl's citizens are still not able to return to their homes. Nuclear pollution is just that dangerous. Why would we use nuclear energy if it's this dangerous you may ask. Think about it....from the lights in your home to the video games you play, all of it uses electricity. We need electricity to live and function and nuclear power is one way to get it.
